Travillian is excited to announce the placement of Paul Ho-Sing-Loy as the new Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at MidWestOne Bank, effective as of June 3, 2024. Travillian was honored to serve as an exclusive recruitment partner for MidWestOne Bank.

Chip Reeves, Chief Executive Officer of MidWestOne Bank stated, “The rapid pace of technological advancement has forever changed our industry, our internal processes, and our customers behaviors and expectations. I’m a firm believer that banking organizations must embrace these advancements to remain relevant. We engaged Travillian, a leading executive recruitment firm with an emphasis on banking technology, to conduct a nationwide Chief Information Officer search that yielded tremendous candidates. We narrowed the candidates to four individuals who met with many of our senior leaders as well as two of our board of directors. There was a clear, unanimous choice as to whom we desired to lead Information Technology for our next chapter of growth and innovation.”

Brian Love, Travillian’s Head of Banking & Fintech, stated, “Working closely with Chip and his team at MidWestOne was extraordinary; they were focused, communicative, and engaged.  There’s a reason why they’re one of the best banks in the Midwest.  Paul will help the team achieve their strategic goals by further embracing technology and innovation.”

Ho-Sing-Loy is a seasoned technology executive who most recently served as EVP, CIO for $11 billion, New Jersey based Lakeland Bank. Paul joined Lakeland seven years ago and devised the technology roadmap that assisted Lakeland in scaling from $5B in assets to todays $11B. Reeves said, “He has vast experience in technology platforms, business automation, data governance and analytics, and digital innovation as he ensures Information technology is a collaborative, forward thinking partner to our Lines of Business and Administrative Departments.
